Megacubo: facts and specifications
Megacubo is a free, open-source M3U/IPTV player for Windows, Linux, macOS and Android, distributed since 2008. It plays the lists and live streams that you or the community provide, and it does not sell, bundle or host TV content.
This page exists to be the single, dated definition of the product — the one that other pages, directories and data feeds should agree with. Each fact below carries its source.

What Megacubo is not
- Not an IPTV subscription service — the project does not sell channels, packages or trials
- Not a content host — no channel is provided, bundled or endorsed by the application
- Not a media center — it plays playlists and streams; a local library and add-on platform is a different kind of product (Kodi, for example)
- Not account-based — there is no login, and the app works offline apart from the streams themselves

Questions about these facts
Who publishes Megacubo?
The project is developed by the EdenwareApps organisation and published by Edenware. The source code, releases and issue tracker are public on GitHub, and the official website is megacubo.tv.
How is Megacubo funded, if the app is free?
By an optional, one-time Premium license that adds recording, downloads, scheduled recordings and casting. The free app is complete for watching live TV and radio, and the license is not a subscription.
How often are these facts updated?
The version, platform list and requirements are reviewed with each release; the page carries the date of the last verification. The same definitions are used in the GitHub README and in the PAD descriptor that software directories read.
